Just a few miles south of Exeter are the neighbouring villages of Cockwood and Starcross.

Cockwood is a traditional picturesque fishing village with a tidal harbour and public houses serving a rich array of sea food, whilst Starcross features rail and road access to Exeter or Newton Abbott and the UK’s oldest sailing club. Nearby Powderham Castle, home to the Earl of Devon, is a popular tourist destination and often hosts world class music artists and motor shows.

Both towns are incredibly popular places to live due to the proximity to the countryside, easy access to Exeter and glorious sea views. Cockwood features properties with history, including small coastal cottages and larger hillside houses, whilst Starcross has an array of more modest modern housing. Both villages have well regarded primary schools and a collection of small shops and services.

Without the facilities of Estate or Letting Agents situated in the immediate vicinity, homeowners in both villages have sought the services of agents like Devon Rose from nearby Dawlish, giving us a great deal of experience of these small markets.
