Situated at the base of the Teign estuary and with deep harbour waters, Teignmouth has enjoyed a long history associated with the sea, from the early Newfoundland fisheries through to the rise of tourism in the 19th century. The Port, which originally handled granite export and shipbuilding, is still active today, mostly handling clay, timber and grain.

With its Victorian pier, lido, amusement arcade and long promenade, the town has a vibrant tourism trade that draws many visitors. With a wide range of international cuisine and many delightful shops, boutiques and cafes, the town centre has a surprisingly diverse and artisan feel.

Teignmouth has excellent local authority schooling as well as the highly acclaimed independent Trinity School. The area features a wide range of housing, including affordable contemporary flats, large Georgian houses and traditional 20th century homes, many with glorious views of the estuary and sea front. The town is also in the midst of a regeneration programme that seeks to improve many of the amenities available to its inhabitants.

Due to the close proximity to Dawlish we have established a strong portfolio in this wonderful town. We have the experience and local knowledge required to deliver an unrivalled service to the landlords and tenants of Teignmouth.
